“The best inheritance a parent can give his children is a few minutes of his time each day.”
-Orlando Aloysius Battista

Dear Parents,

There are only twelve days of school remaining this school year! Where has the time gone? This is not the time to let up your guard. Please keep reading with your children and encouraging them to do the very best they can to be the very best they can be.

There are still two more Parent Workshops this spring to help you support your children. While they are intended for the parents of Title I students, anyone who is interested in helping his child do well in school, is invited to participate. They are scheduled for June 5 and June 7 at 6:00. We need at least 10 parents to register. We were also pleased to offer Virtus Training, in English, on May 31, at 5:00. If you plan to participate in school activities, you must have this training.

I am excited to tell you that the archdiocese has begun to advertise the Dual Language Immersion (DLI) model on television! The next broadcast is scheduled for June 8 on Noticias, channel 34. Please tune in to see how this program is intended to support your child’s academic and cultural growth. While St. Paul is not featured, these are our sister schools in the DLI Network and our DLI program next year will be the same.

Have you registered your child yet? Remember that the registration fee will increase to $350 on June 30. On June 2nd, we will draw the names of three students who have already registered and have won a free uniform. So, if you want to be in on this drawing, you have to pay your child’s registration fee by June 1st.

Finally, we will be having our final Awards Ceremony in the Church at the Baccalaureate Mass on June 9th at 9:00. Please come and join us and help recognize those children who have done so well this past year. We look forward to seeing you there.

Until next time, be happy, be prayerful, and be well!

As always, you know where to find me. God bless you!
